On Sunday, August 5, our client Dragonheart Vermont held their 7th Annual Lake Champlain Dragon Boat Festival. The weather did not entirely cooperate, however, causing the racecourse to be shortened due to extremely strong winds. Everybody from racers to volunteers had to stay focused and work extra hard throughout the day to battle the elements. Regardless, the festival was a great time and was pulled off without a hitch, raising about $130,000 for wellness programs for cancer survivors in our area.
