Last Friday, our longtime client O’Brien Brothers celebrated the groundbreaking of its newest project, Hillside at O’Brien Farm: Vermont’s first and only all electric, fossil fuel-free neighborhood. As the project’s developer, O’Brien Brothers needed a new website to help sell homes that are part of the climate solution, and Stride was honored to be a part of it.
The Hillside East phase of the neighborhood consists of 155 beautiful new construction homes in South Burlington, Vermont. After digging into the details of the target audience, neighborhood, and climate-resilient homes, we crafted messaging for the entire website that touched on all the main topics of the Hillside brand experience. Next, we planned, coordinated, and directed a series of photoshoots that showcase beautiful spaces and a variety of happy homeowners.
Once the messaging and photography were done, we set to work on the new site. The user experience of the site needed to match the brand experience of purchasing a quality home in a coveted neighborhood, so we began with new branding, engaging images, and iconography to reflect the Hillside lifestyle. We then enhanced the home buying and selling process for both O’Brien and website users by adding sort and filter functionality and an interactive neighborhood map. The map lets the user zoom in on the neighborhood to view available properties and home styles and is easy to update for the client when homes sell.
As thrilled as we were to see all the buzz about the groundbreaking, we’re even more psyched to watch as reservations for new homes roll in!
