As part of our ongoing work with Capstone Community Action, we reworked the content and overall design of their annual report. The Report to the Community 2019 reflects the new branding we are rolling out for this important organization.
In our messaging strategy work with Capstone — a multi-faceted nonprofit that helps alleviate poverty in myriad ways — we uncovered an immediate need to clarify what the organization does and simplify what it stands for. So for this report, it was important for us to convey not only participant stories and donor information, but to re-introduce all readers to the purpose and basic functions of Capstone.
Design plays a big part in taking this organization to the next level in branding. For the cover of this report, we chose bold colors and an appealing central photo, and utilized a modern, asymmetrical grid to tell their story with multiple photos. This approach helps to improve Capstone’s image as a relevant organization with innovative ideas and solutions.
