We recently wrapped up another high-tech photoshoot for Hayward Tyler, a global leader in pumps and motors for the energy sector — including nuclear power.
Hayward Tyler serves the nuclear power industry with an innovative “sealless” motor/pump design that greatly reduces the risk of radiation exposure by eliminating the seal that often causes pump failure in nuclear power plants.
These extremely valuable units are engineered and serviced right here in Vermont and then shipped to power plants across the globe. They have a life span of 40+ years within a harsh, radioactive environment, so once they enter a nuclear plant, they don’t come out. When a recent one was ready to ship, we jumped on the opportunity to photograph it.
We hired photographer Rick Levinson from RL Photo to shoot this pricey industrial product within Hayward Tyler’s efficiently-run production schedule. We coordinated and directed the shoot to get exactly what our client needed for their ongoing marketing needs.
With offices around the world, Hayward Tyler has been serving the nuclear market since the 1950’s, when it supplied units to the world’s first full-scale nuclear power generating plant. Over 60% of active nuclear stations in North America operate with Hayward Tyler products. Amazing statistics for a company operating in the small, rural state of Vermont!
