Mind if we quickly brag about two of our clients, and their recent, generous doings?
This October, Vermont Federal Credit Union raised over $25,000 for United Way! With pledge cards, employees voluntarily committed an ongoing or a one-time donation deducted from their paychecks. VT Federal members generously participated in a 50/50 raffle to help raise funds.
Sweetwaters also held its 26th annual Thanksgiving Day event in which 1,000 coats and 1,000 dinners were given to community members in need. The event involved 150 volunteers, and a whole lot of food! Imagine cooking and serving up this Thanksgiving dinner? 1000 pounds of turkey, 70 lbs of cranberry sauce, 400 lbs of stuffing, 600 lbs of mashed potatoes, 150 pies, 50 gallons of coffee, and 60 lbs of butter!
