Head Start is a nationally-recognized program that brings free, quality early childhood education and all around family support to infants, toddlers, and pre-school aged children from low-income families. Capstone Community Action—a Vermont nonprofit working to end poverty for people in Washington, Lamoille, and Orange counties—enlisted Stride’s help to develop videography to recruit candidates for a fun and rewarding career in their Head Start program.
We’re passionate about helping mission-driven organizations achieve their goals, so we jumped at the opportunity to tell an impactful, compelling story about working at Capstone Head Start through messaging, storytelling, videography, and most importantly—real people.
After working with Capstone to better understand the program and nail down the message, we joined forces with the tried-and-true videographers at RetroMotion Creative, and together we worked to map out the story, plan the shoots, and direct the action. Using a mix of b-roll and interview-style shots, our team captured what it feels like to work for a community-based program that helps local families thrive while supporting its employees through flexibility, great benefits, and ongoing learning opportunities.
The result of Capstone Head Start’s new video is a heartwarming story of both community support and the impact of a rewarding career. Check it out!
