Revitalizing a Vermont-rooted foundation
The Lintilhac Foundation needed a new website that better reflects their important community-based work and answers questions for potential grantees and the public. This website refresh delivers on all fronts: clear site navigation, refreshed messaging, and a beautiful showcase of meaningful Vermont images that help explain what they do.

Designing a piece of history
The Lintilhac Foundation has an interesting origin story, which came to life in an exciting book design project at Stride. China in Another Time is the personal history of Claire Lintilhac, which was compiled and edited by Vermont author Doug Wilhelm. We collaborated closely with Doug on the project, combing through Claire’s photo albums for visual content, suggesting edits, retouching photographs, and developing page layouts across 228 pages. We also sourced historical images from image collections in England to fill out the book’s pages.

Honoring a Vermont healthcare icon
Established by midwifery pioneer Claire Lintilhac, The Lintilhac Foundation is a major supporter of sustainable, positive change in Vermont, with maternity care as its core legacy. We were honored to design a permanent display at the University of Vermont Medical Center to honor the 50-year history of the Lintilhac Foundation’s contributions to local nurse-midwifery care. This timeline display is installed at The Claire M. Lintilhac Birthing Center.

Timeless annual report design
We work with the Lintilhac Foundation on a variety of projects, including the coordination and design of its Annual Report. Written by author Doug Wilhelm, this large publication highlights the myriad ways this philanthropic organization positively improves the quality of life in Vermont. Vibrant photos and testimonials adorn almost every page within a clean design that makes it a joy to read.
