We recently launched a pair of inspiring websites for the sister communities of Westview Meadows and The Gary Residence, two senior living facilities located in Montpelier, Vermont.
The Gary Residence is a residential care facility with a unique sense of home. It is housed in an historic Victorian in the heart of downtown, and its residents enjoy a small, tight-knit community and local connections within walking distance. In contrast, Westview Meadows is a large, modern campus that comprises both independent living and residential care apartments, in a setting just outside of town that provides open spaces and idyllic vistas.
To refresh the websites for these connected but distinct communities, we took direction from our own recent updates to printed sales materials for The Gary Residence, in which revitalized branding, messaging, and design improved their effectiveness. We brought this thinking into our web work, creating in-brand design and messaging that complement the print materials and inspire the user. Just as importantly, we made several changes to the site architecture of both sites to ensure a user experience that is easy and intuitive. The results are two sites that reflect their connection while retaining their own unique qualities.
