As a complete website overhaul, we left no stone unturned — starting with internal surveys and research to set the right direction. This 12-page brochure highlights its many products and services tailored to the needs of nuclear power plants, featuring product specifications, engineering services, field testing, and industry innovations.
Marketing solutions for critical industries
Hayward Tyler enlisted Stride to design a print ad for Oil and Gas Innovation, an industry magazine focused on business information and industry solutions. We set to work on a full-page color ad highlighting their submersible pumps and motors solutions for offshore oil drilling, where performance and reliability are key.
Maintaining a global brand
Hayward Tyler’s clients represent a variety of industries worldwide. Resonating with a diverse global audience requires marketing that is clear, accurate, and cleanly designed. Using European print standards, we produce a myriad of print materials directed to engineers and plant managers, many of which require versions in American English, British English, and Chinese. We work diligently to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and print quality of these critical sales pieces.
Emails that build relationships
Using Pardot, the email marketing arm of Salesforce, we worked with Hayward Tyler to create a series of email drip campaigns for events and promotional messaging. Working closely with our client and Pardot, we developed engaging content that encourages click-throughs, and built the emails for deployment by Hayward Tyler.
Product and action photography
Great marketing materials require compelling imagery. For Hayward Tyler, that often means planning and directing photoshoots here at their US facility, whether the focus is on massive industrial equipment or the people who build it. Product shots like this performance-critical nuclear pump were taken by Rick Levinson of RL Photo.

As a global corporation, Hayward Tyler has ongoing sales activities that require high-level presentation materials. And its substantial collection of sales literature requires an innovative solution for containing it. This custom double-gusseted pocket folder is designed to carry a considerable amount of material while holding its shape.
A brand with engineered appeal
Datahawk is a specialized condition monitoring system developed by Hayward Tyler and designed to help their clients monitor the performance of their pumps and motors. We developed the Datahawk logo for a modern engineering audience, with a graphic icon that reflects a spinning impeller — a central feature of these industrial pumps — and a clean design that’s easy to reproduce.
Promoting a new product
To help Hayward Tyler get the word out about its new Datahawk system, we developed an overview brochure that outlines its features and benefits to plant owners and managers. We crafted copywriting, infographics, and images of the product to create an easy-to-read guide to Hayward Tyler’s newest product offering.
Advertising new partnerships
With Hayward Tyler’s acquisition of the nuclear parts manufacturer Energy Steel, we worked with the company to help promote this new merging of industry expertise, with ads such as this two-page spread in Nuclear News magazine. This special edition of the magazine allowed for full-page advertorial copy to promote all capabilities in-depth.
