Logo/Identity
A positive take on negative space
We’re honored to have worked with Vermont Brownie’s founder since it was just a bite-sized idea. Just like the company, our logo design is a balance of whimsy and elegance, and the playful use of negative space gets noticed and remembered. We chose a sheep mascot as a nod to Vermont’s agriculture roots, and he has since become a beloved brand icon.
Packaging
A box design for every season
Packaging design for Vermont Brownie Company was critical to its success as a unique specialty food. Our cost-effective bellyband solution emerged from a need to reign in costs during the company’s startup phase, and this design that has proven to be as versatile as its contents are tasty. With a wide array of seasonal designs, it’s a practical solution that ranks high in customer love.
Print design
A rack card with marketing versatility
This simple, inexpensive rack card was one of the first marketing tools we designed for this specialty food company, and it has proven to be highly useful and long-lasting. Enticing photography and lighthearted copywriting help give it life, and it’s been used in a variety of ways to encourage future sales.
Branding
The brand comes together
Collaborating with our client, we helped bring together the various items needed for this new brand: a box design for sets of brownies, a packaging solution for individually-wrapped brownies, and promotional items — to name a few. The company was set to take off… which it did.
