Alison has more than 15 years of experience in a variety of roles with large and small nonprofits and government agencies in both Burlington, Vermont and Cincinnati, Ohio. She most recently worked in marketing and communications for United Way and has a passion for social justice.
Alison holds a degree in journalism from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. She later parlayed that experience into telling the stories of local communities, real people, and tough issues. She loves to write punchy, concise copy, and relies heavily on the adage that “less is more,” both in copywriting and in life.
When not at Stride, you can find her with her family, her collection of houseplants, or working on another DIY home project at her house in Jericho. She also enjoys exploring New England and reading good books.
